On Friday and Saturday during Holy Week volunteer helpers arrived to decorate the church for Easter Sunday. The beautiful colours and scents of the flowers brought spring and the beauty of nature into church. As we celebrated Christ's resurrection, all around us were reminders that just as new life springs from the darkness of winter so the darkness of death is not an end but a beginning.
