Christ Church Douglas-In-Parbold
Easter 2004

There were several treats and pleasant surprises for those entering church during the Easter weekend.

The first surprise, which many visitors commented on were the beautiful flower displays that filled every corner of the church.

Our thanks once again for the volunteers who worked so hard putting everything together and to those who donated greenery and flowers.

On Easter Sunday there was a tasty treat for those present between the end of the 8.00 am Service and the start of the 10.00 am Service.

What nicer way to celebrate this special day than with a shared breakfast of fresh orange juice, bacon butties and tea and coffee.

In the photograph on the right you can see that the celebration breakfast was a great success and was greatly enjoyed by those who attended it.

After the 10.00 am Service there were treats and surprises for the children as they enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in the garden.
